Cost:

Typically free or donation-based.

Eligibility:

  • Residents living in Mecklenburg County of all ages and income levels
  • Those who self-enroll or are referred by a family member or health professional
  • Individuals who are unable to prepare a meal at home, usually due to mobility or ability limitations
  • Those who have a chronic illness, recent surgery, HIV/AIDS, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or are a fall risk, on dialysis, or homebound
